Stephanie Foy is an Advanced CranioSacral Therapist, New York State Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Theta Practioner, Shamanic Practitioner and Certified Firewalk Instructor. Stephanie graduated from The Center for Natural Wellness School of Massage Therapy in New York where she studied 1020 hours of Massage and Bodywork, including Anatomy & Physiology, Myology and Kinethesiology, Swedish Massage, Sports Massage, Deep Tissue Massage and Myofascial Therapy. Stephanie is NYS Board Certified in Massage Therapy. She completed The Upledger Institute’s program in CranioSacral I & II, SomatoEmotional Release I & II and Advanced Cranio Sacral Therapy. She has been a teaching assistant in several Upledger Institute CranioSacral trainings and has assisted in teaching Introduction to CranioSacral Therapy at The Center for Natural Wellness. Stephanie has also studied Hugh Milne’s Visionary CranioSacral teachings and is pursuing her education in BioDynamic CranioSacral Therapy. Stephanie has studied intensively in Maui, Hawaii and is trained in Shamanic Hawaiian Temple Bodywork. She completed Tracey & Emery Forest’s three year Seeing With the Heart study in Shamanic Practices. Stephanie is a Certified Fire Walk Instructor and Empowerment Teacher through Sundoor International School of Firewalking. Stephanie is also an Certified Advanced Theta Healing Practioner. After being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and having spent a year in a wheelchair, the severity of her symptoms led her to seek alternative therapy. Through CranioSacral Therapy, visualization techniques, and a deep connection to nature and shamanism, she began working with her mind/body/spirit to create and realize her own optimal health. Stephanie is now dedicated to sharing this passion with others. She believes strongly that health comes from within and that we can each affect our own optimal well-being. Through her healing practice, Stephanie sought a powerful visual and physical tool to embody the belief that obstacles can be overcome with focus and intention. She adopted firewalking as her powerful ally. Stephanie offers CranioSacral Therapy, Theta Healing by phone or in person, Shamanic Medicine, group healing and ceremonial firewalk for individuals and groups. Stephanie currently sees clients in Bennington and Brattleboro, Vermont.
